Continuing my love for all things Artsy I pursued a 2 year college course in Art and Design to gain my BTEC National Diploma. Not knowing what route to continue into I decided to set aside the idea of going to university and chose to keep my arts and crafts a hobby and get the first job I could to help support my mum and sister. 

After working in retail for 10 years I came to the decision that it wasn’t right for me and it was time to go down a new route. I have always turned to sewing; making little quilts, tote bags and decorative items. It wasn’t until my boyfriend told me about a new EDC item he’d seen and wanted to add to his collection, I offered to make him his first hank; that’s when Little Hanks was born.

Always striving to do better and progress my skill set. I started off as a junior at the age of 18 in the bathroom industry; I progressed quickly into management by the age of 20 and within my 11 year service I picked up several skills, including product procurement and development.

After a joyful career in the industry I had decided it was time for a change and made the big step of going into business with my brother; a family run recruitment agency specialising in logistics.

Since I gained my firearms and SGC licence I have thoroughly enjoyed game shooting, clay pigeon shooting and days at the range. Another hobby of mine is taking Bruce out for long walks and training him as a gundog!

I have always had a thing for knives and as I have got older my collection has grown tenfold; The past 6 months I have been a EDC fanatic which lead me to the hank game. Carrying something in my pocket everyday that me and my girlfriend created makes me very content.
